Upfront acidity, sharp acetic notes that mellow towards the middle of the mouth . Subtle vanilla, mellow spirit sweetness, light oak.

The rhum and Madeira really punch through. As nice as it is, I miss the pure cognac aged of 2020 which was phenomenal.

Cantillon c'est cantillon ! 3 barrels aged rhum cognac et marsala ! On sent pas trop le fût mais la patte !

향에서도 나무가 도드라지지만 풀냄새같은 향도 나고 황냄새가 좀 남. 너무 짬뽕되있어서 뭔지 모르겠음. 산미도 별로 없고 떫지도 않는데 이상하게 마시기가 불편함.

Surprisingly acetic to be Cantillon. Unripe red berries, nuts and some oak. Acetic acid follows through with a punch on the body. 50N4E has always been a bit of a puzzler for me, and this is not one of my favourite editions.

Sour, woody, earthy, dry. Medium acidity, barnyard funk, smooth but a distinct lack of barrels apart from dry oak. Still, very nice.
