Leathery head. Sweet farmhouse aroma, durian, Viet spinach, damp soil on the nose. Piquant tartness & savoury accents. Notes of musty old barrel wood tannins, watercress. Dry finish. Starfruit aftertaste over decidedly peppery dry-bite in the inner mouth.

Bought this in Como last year, my first Iris. Lovely lemon sourness with a prominent bitterness on the finish from the hops. Pretty sublime.

Super fruitig als groene appel en druif, mooi fruitig zuur maar toch ook met een beter. In de neus de wilde gist / brett tonen. Redelijk vol maar toch ook fris. Super!

Very impressive. Gin-like body from the add of the hops and the reduction of the wheat. Slight peachiness and light pear, bit of spice, and a fairly good amount of funk development. Really well done and def tasting the results of the sit. 4.55

Quite pungent when opened, but taste is completely different. Mild funk, pleasant sweetness, dry finish but it works well.

Heavily citrusy, ultra funky/phenolic aroma. It’s been many years since I’ve had an Iris, and I’ve always had it fresh. 5 years old is pretty nice.
