Dropping to 4.25 as it as not as good as the 2016 version. More stone fruit less chocolate

Aged close to prime, damn good! Smooth for such a 16% + stout! 🍻 🔥

Sweeter than previous bottles. Not nearly as viscous as current day stouts.

The real ones know about WWS! Roasty, rich, and never disappointed in it.

4.5 years on the shelf. Still a wonderfully complex heavy beer.

Still plenty of spunk. A little thin though.

Wow. Love this one. Tons of coffee and chocolate and boozy AF. Aged 4 years and seems to be nearly perfect, to me. Glad I have a few more of these!

Incredible how well this holds up as a non-BA stout. Aged for close to 5 years, it's smooth as ever but with all the robustness you'd expect from this ABV. Wish I had more!

Very nice! BIG dried dark fruit dominates from the start & throughout, w/ merlot, cocoa powder, dried apricot, pomegranate, plum, raisin, dark cherry, & subtle roast joining mid-palate, understated molasses & pinch of brown sugar late. 4/2019 bottle.

Roasty, boozy, rich, smooth, slightly sweet

Seems like about 5 years might be the sweet spot for aging these beers, non-BA versions anyway. This is complex and delicious with almost no detectable booziness.

Planned to cellar this for a few more years....but you can't predict when a moment of celebration will occur.

Nice find at meijer perfect for a early brunch, bacon is on the stove! WWS has held up and aged great

Very rich, chocolate and some coffee with no alcohol bite for me considering the ABV. Others were complaining about it in the comments however.

been sitting in my fridge for a year...a very tasty stout - & not too boozy for an 18% A.B.V. Even at $10 a bottle, still worth it - for a special occasion (i.e. last zoom work meeting of 2020).

A gift from the cellar gods. Some smart fucker hid some a while back. Too bad this dumb ass found 'em!

Something of a legend, and deservedly so. Amazingly smooth for the ABV, but this one has been in the cellar for 22 months. Hot chocolate.

Bottled on 05/09/19. Celebrating my boy completing the Appalachian Trail! Though he's not here in person, he's here in spirit. And he will be here in person soon! Here's to you, Chris!

I'm so happy, what a great find Koo A. Thanks for your amazing selection. Love Capitol highway!!

This is unreal for the ABV. The only thing keeping it from a 5.0 is the mouthfeel…just a bit thin for something so rich.

Happy birthday, Cecil! Special beer that’s been deep in the cabinet for years.
