Can't detect much cognac up front. As a lambic, it is impressively soft and smooth - especially for Cantillon. Bumping up 0.25 as it aerates. Bumped it up another now that I'm at the sediment.

Stanky shoe leather. Feet. Very dry & musty. A bit of stonefruit. Mild acid. Honestly I'm not a fan, so no rating. Don't want to mess with Global.

Wonderful bouquet of apricot, peach and oak. Continues on the palate with decadent layers of oak and stone fruit. Long long finish. Incredible stuff.

Lots of stone fruit on the nose. A well-balanced level bitterness and sweetness. The colour is amazing.

Very elegant. Soft cognac very evident. Really quite funky.seriously mouth watering. Very dry.

Thought it was gonna be way more tart/sour based on the nose but was actually more muted and enjoyable.

Poaaaaah wat een topper zeg! 1e kennismaking met deze versie(2019) (en gelukkig nog 1 in kelder) maar wat een smaakbommetje. Cantillonaroma op en top met zeer veel karakter en smaak! Scherp, droog zuurtje met een hele mooie balans in de afdronk. 🤤

Beautiful color. Nice funkiness. Good amount of barnyard like flavors. Sour but very clean. Excellent brew.

Topper van de avond! 2019, de nuance van de cognac barrel bevalt me enorm. Al het goede van Canti. Proef er wat abrikoos in.

Wet paper towels, a bit of tartness and funk and when it comes to Cantillon this is on the low end. It’s light and then just drops off a cliff.

Dit als afzakker gepakt. Veel te goed om zonder beoordelingsvermorgen te drinken. Dus ja, sowieso hoge rating geven!!
