Vin

Ultra funky rhubarb, and Cantillon yeast on the initial nose and flavor. Some vinegar, citrus, flowers, lemon, wet cedar, cheese, and barn. It’s nice, but I really like the 17, and 19 vintages

Rhubarb's not my thing, but I Iiked this more than fresh 2017 and 2018 some years ago. Time made it more subtle and closer to a regular geuze, so I enjoyed it. Thanks to Spiros for sharing it.

Moins souffrée que la version précédemment goûtée, mais moins intense aussi... Ca reste une excellente bière de grande occasion (2 ans de mon petit Arthur!) , la rhubarbe est subtile et bien agréable, astringence marquée, acidité modérée. Manque de CO2.

LCI Na bijna 3 jaar op de plank moest deze er toch maar eens aan geloven. Hele mooi volle smaak, zuur, laag in CO², heel licht zoetig en best zacht voor een zuur bier. Cantillon blijft tich wel wen meester in blenden. Toch is dit niet de beste van ze.

Tons of rhubarb, it punches hard and upfront unlike other rhubarb beers. None of the vinegar notes Cantillon struggles with, this is clean. Wish it had a Sherry barrel finish though.

This yesterday night beer was rhubarbarly bitter but at the same time was veery sweet cause after this the barman offered us another glass. A free glass of Cantillon lambic on tap. I think I love the guy, sorry S.

Dit is even een partij anders na 3 jaar! De zwavel is vrijwel volledig weg, evenals een groot deel van de scherp zurige rabarber.. De onderliggende Gueuze is veel meer naar boven gekomen en dat geeft een prachtige balans!
