#geuzetasting tilquin wint deze battle met voorsprong. Lekker funky, maar scherp bittertje dat wat aan de troch doet denken. Niet zo complex.

Classic Cantillon nose. Alot of tannins! Bitter, extremly oaky. Unbalanced. Sour Apples.

Possible cork taint, but not in taste. Possibly too much oxidation. Musty wood, funk, lemon and wee bit sharp carbonation.

Cantillons geuze är ingen favorit så länge den inte är lagrad. Ville därför testa hur denna fyraåring står sig. Lite låg kolsyra och allmänt lite slät och intetsägande. Gott men lämnar inget större avtryck.

Lots of hay blanket with a bit of sweetness. Slight oxidation. Engagement celebratory beer are a weekend of bourbon.

Very different from the 2018 one, much dryer, I think nicer aromas but I definitely prefer the other one more. Thanks Hugo.

Een oude gueuze is altijd lekker! Beetje bitter / grapefruitschil, maar ook wat houtigs. Mooi (verlaat) begin van de avond!

16 Oktober 2016 flaska. Doftar lite funk, äpple, lite citrus. Smaken är ganska enkel spårig, frisk, grapefruit beska, citrus, ek, lite stall och hö. Saknar komplexitet och djup för bli något wow. Men samtidigt gott!

havenot had one of these in awhile. tend to have a hard time with straight gueuze... but in some years of bottle conditioning, much of the rubberband has dissipated. vinosity and oak tannins are prominent and pleasing.

Bottle is 6 years old and has traveled the world. Dry, light, and funky.
