Lekker!

Naast Jan van Vermeersch gedronken. Mooie rabarber intensiteit.

Inköpt 2019 i Bryssel.

Pre-Covid beer, tastes as good as the good old days

Tart tangy rhubarb blends effortlessly into the usual Cantillon sharp tangy, just how i like my sours, no need for mega aggressive modern ones…

Burnt umber colour, no really. Strong vinous, tannin, oaky aroma, like a good wine. Tart rhubarb followed by those vinous grapes, vintage and oaky, dry white wine notes and slightly acidic. It's an aged lambic after all.

Too many old nath not rated...and that's strange. Let's drink 'em then. This one is growing smooth, with just a little hint of the usual sulfur note from the rabarber. Pretty refreshing and enough complex, the right way after the "Nath framboos".

Lovely deep, funky lambic flavours, lasting sour and the rhubarb adds a nice sweetness to the mix. Cracking.

My favourite of zwanze days past. More subtle rhubarb now. Still really good once it warmed up a bit.
