8 years of age. This was incredible! I shared this with family and some found it sour and I found it not that sour at all I thought it was slightly less sour than it could have been being 8 years in but what an amazing beer!

Aged loon geuze is always fantastic. Light carbonation and a slick, almost oily mouthfeel.

1/31 75cl. Smoke, chlorine, olive—this is flawed and pretty bad.

Nose has more sherbet than the 2019 with the apple being a little lighter. Flavours are much more woodsy than a fresher Gueuze with leather joining fresh green apples and maybe a little cinnamon. Totally unique from any other beer experience I’ve had.

Milestone birthday for the wife calls for 7-year-old Cantillon. Absolutely delicious.

Classic cantillon nose. Lovely funk, citrusy in a young way, even some smoke?!. I like, but needs more time

Sept 24 2014 bottle date. This bottle has some heavy notes of “unkind time”, sad. After allowing the glass to open and breath some classic Cantillon funk notes appear but unfortunately still a shell of a healthy bottle.

10-Sep-'14, 75cl. Really musty nose. Barely carbed. Damp basement funk and maybe some faint apple peel on the palate. Showing a weird acidity, like back of the throat burning. Sad.

Time nurtured this bottle. Holy hell. Insane nose and creamy carb/body. The nose was my favorite part. Intense lemon juice poured on a hay barrel surrounded by dilapidated barn walls. Fuck yes.

Completely black cork with some sludge under the cap followed by some mild gushing. Funky, dry, and zesty but not as tart as your average Cantillon offering.

1 Dec 2014 375ml. Rather sharp for Cantillon, with a tomatoey vinegar character. Nice river rock mineral character too. Not Cantillon at its best but still a nice drink.

750 mL from April 23, 2014. A disappointing bottle. Was primarily aged at a controlled 55 degree temp, and already starting to get into that oxidized dessert wine category. Bummer.
