Loads of cognac, rich, delicious.

12 January 2022 - I didn't realize 2022 bottles were aged in Cognac, Rum, and Marsala barrels. There's definitely a more fruity/grape and spirit driven nose compared to past bottles I've had. The flavor is a little more fruity, sweet, and vinous too.

Very strong cognac aroma. Some ethyl acetate. Taste is oaky, mellow, slightly vinegar but not overpowering. Full bodied mouthfeel. Low carbonation.

Earthy, woody, and funky aroma. Very subtle. Woody and earthy. Subtle notes of cognac, rum, and marsala. Very subtle very complex very nice

In smaak een stuk minder zuur dan de geur doet verwachten. Houtig, witte druif, abrikoos en fijn doordrinkbaar. Licht funky, had meer gemogen. Glas nummer 2 wel iets meer zuur, mooi!

This beer is way boozier than I remember for this series. Kinda flat too. I usually really enjoy this beer, but I'm really not feeling this bottle. Just way too much barrel rather than gueuze.

Wanilia, drewno, oczywiście sporo owocków, fenole, lekki ocet. Kwas poniżej średniego, wytrawny finisz. Piwko git.

Bottle from Geers. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Funky, citrussy with sweet barrel notes. Good, but not the best 50N version.
