This was accidentally aged in barrels that held Zwanze 2022. Very interesting. The peppery spice is still clear on the nose, but is far more restrained and enjoyable on the palate compared to Poivre.

4.30. Floral and elderflower herbaceous at the beginning. Then the floral black pepper comes out. Quite floral all the way. The combination does work.

Golden, slight hazy. Pepper meets floral. Neither dominates. Interesting change from the 2022 Zwanze (Poivre de Gorilles).

Elderflower, and funky, woody crushed twigs. Body is delicate and elegant, gentle elderflower perfume & ripe sweet white grapes. Lemon peel and white pepper give a slightly bitter end.

Namnam. Tydeligere hyldeblomst end andre gange jeg har smagt den. 1 år gammel præcis. Meget let syre. Nok en fantatstisk madøl. Lidt foie gras til den?
