Almost no pop when opening, which isn't a good thing for me with Iris. Close to flat, bringing forth maltyiness not letting the dry hopping come through properly flavor wise. Sour and bit funky with a bitter finish. Close to a bitter Bruocsella...

Paired with Thai holy basil chicken wings which was a delicious pairing! Still a hint “thick” and dry hopping is definitely more grassy than ripe cheese but a delicious base nonetheless and I look forward to the years treating the rest of my bottles well.

Fruity on the nose and to taste. On the back end it gets a sharp. Aftertaste is malty and bitter. Not the best aftertaste for me but just have more and the first rate may overpower the aftertaste.

Klar kopparfärgad, löddrigt vitt skum. Låg på kolsyra. Doft av torkad frukt, jordkällare. Munkänlsan är len, lätt oljig, fyllig, torrare avslut. Smaken är komplex, blommig, torkad frukt, kryddigt, någon jästig kärvhet. Stilla för en Cantillon. Annorlunda!

Nul schuim bij het inschenken. De kleur valt ook op: erg troebel. Lijkt wel een hazy IPA 🙈. Is eigenlijk ook best wel bitter van smaak, zeker voor een Cantillon. Ook zoals een IPA 🤔. Bescheiden zuurtje met wat aardse tonen. Bottle datum 30 maart 2023.
