Väldigt mustig, lite vinäger, känns som att den peakat vid det här laget.

Really enjoying the depth of aged Cantillon. Acidity levels here are up, very nicely complemented by musty aromas and slightly oxidative flavors of prunes and raisins. Dry finish!

Old Cantillon gueuze is the best gueuze to me, always fantastic. Musty dusty oak, sesame, wet cellar, lemon, mineral notes, ... lovely

Malt Does More

I had a somewhat sediment-heavy pour so won’t rate, but I wasn’t as convinced by this one. There was a harshness to the funk sourness that I was surprised by in this old a gueuze.

Jeudi 14 avril Cantillon Parle moi de ça une top gueuze. Estique que c’est parfait, poussière, zesty, cheesy. Miam. Le party commence à être pogné solide

Cellar, mold, basement, a bit of oxidation too. Loads of tartness, super bitter, funk too and definitely tart. So much tart. Well, a classic gueuze.

C'était complètement fou. Acidité pas trop marquée, très funky, animal. Gros gros gros kiff. Merci M. VAN ROY :)

c'est exactement le genre de bouteilles de fou qui donne envie de faire du vieillissement de 10 ans+

Apple/apple compote, very round and balanced after such a long time in the bottle. Otherwise dry, tart, musty. astonishingly high carbonization! Great craftsmanship!

Smells like apple/apple mousse. Round, balanced, apple, a bit sour, cantillon funk.

Just as nice as I remember, and can go another 10 years. Basement funk, wet oak, lemon, mineral, dust, and Brussels bacteria.

You're Fragile

375, yellow label, bottled 17 sept 2010. Slightly brighter than expected nose, wet earth, attic funk, flavor is smooth and deep with lemon funk, leather, oak; bright citrus to start then basement mineral funk to finish
