Tastes similar to the 2019 so I'm not sure aging it adds much value. Delicious all around though!

One of the best decisions Founders could have made to brew this beauty in 2023. Always was and still is...a 5! Hard to beat this one.

I love CBS and KBS so much! But at the same time I can only handle one or two a day.

Datk pour med brown head. Nose faint soy sauce and bourbon. Sips extremely smooth with a milk chocolate front. Whiskey barrel oakey notes. Sweet with maple and coffee. Deep roast gives a hint of bitter on back end. Chocolate moves to a dark as well. Love!

Another great stout in Founders lineup. Will be on the lookout for more. HEAVY HITTA SUCKA!

Founders perfected the 23 batch. Not overly sweet and nicely balanced. Same as description-choc, coffee, just the right amount of oak with hints of vanilla and maple as it warms. The sweet quickly fades to the background executing a boozy finish. Cheers!

Great to see it circulating again. One of the original βbig $β beers for me. With all the legitimate competition these days, it has lost some of its luster. Good choco scent, solid coffee and maple flavor, but it seems more hidden than most Jackie Oβs.

I canβt rate this fairly after drinking that bourbon paradise. Not much bourbon and on the malty side.

The best variation of my favorite barrel aged stout. Came here specifically for it, as it doesn't seem to be widely available, and it was worth the trip.

Richness without being too much everything. Some vanilla, plenty of coffee. Sweetness not cloying. Plenty of darkness there too.

CBS should be a yearly brewing event. This is the Flagship of Founders Brewing. Drink this, and you will never have another IPA.
