Base white wine taste, weird but basic taste, can't describe..

All the gravelly mineral you could ask for but this bottle is a little lacking in acid and depth relative to earlier ones. Still very good.

Brewed 2014 bottled 2016 so out of date by 5 years now. Disgusting old beer, but not. Finally found a Geuze I like. Dry, funky, oaky, sour, acidic, vinous, apple. No cognac though.

Dark straw color. Little hint of vanilla on the nose. Lively acidity, bonedry, but very mouthfilling. An intellectual geuze.

It's Boon and a Gueuze so I can't be too hard on it, but my bottle definitely had some strongly oxidized character that cut against a deeply funky, earthy blend.

Richtig anspruchsvoll, breit, komplex, die Fassnoten sind deutlich wahrnehmbar, dry, hält sich sehr lange im Mund. Bottle Datum 18.4.2016

Funky aroma en dat typerend stalletje, heerlijk! Frisse citushints en appelzuurte. Zeer verfrissend en ideaal in het zonnetje. Zeer smaakvol na dagje binnen vergaderen.

Oct 17. 375ml bottle. Aroma of fruity funk. Some coarse woodiness on the palate, extremely tart and tangy with pithy lemon, sharp marmalade, some cognac echoes, Wonderfully complex, fruity, woody, tangy gueuze.
