1st bottle of last year's trip to Brussels. Full of grapes, wine notes and oak. Amazing as usual.

Crisp and dry with notes of black and red currant, oak, apples and tannins. Obviously vineous with a good balance between sweetness and acidity.

2023.03.22. Woah… the poultry odor…! That’s what the brett and the fruits in this beer created, but behind the veil rich and full aromas of grape can be found. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium-bodied. Subtle and mellow sweetness with nutty and old cheese flavors.

Sitting here super absorbed in my phone when i look up and Kelsey gives me a glass of Cantillon. There i see Mark at the other end of the bar with "good hair" Dan. Beer sharing is caring. Life is good.

Different vintage, same rating! Exceptional beer featuring an incisive acidic touch balanced with an intense vinous & grapy mouthfeel. Delicate tannins along with a slight sweetness & notes of oak, yeast & must are also noticeable. Deep, lingering finish.

Might be the freshest I’ve ever had this. Lots of grape flavor with subtle funk underneath.

Very fruit forward still. Vinous, dry, light Cantillon funk. Always love this beer.

Woah nilly this is good. Low acidity, great grape flavors up front, silky carb. Another perfect cantillon

Fantastic to finally check out the new spot with the wifey on a date night. Another tasty entry in this personal Cantillon favorite. Grape, funk, barnyard, mildly juicy, and super drinkable despite the sour backbone.

A little funkier and stronger than the 2022, but same underlying taste.

In a weird spot? It’s developing some acidity which is nice but it still has that fresh grape quality that I don’t like (I prefer 2-4 years on these I guess?). Almost no funk at all. Gonna lay the rest of these down for at least a year and see

Ik. Ben. Een. Fanboy.
