Appeltjes zuur met een duidelijk zoetje op de achtergrond. Wat wrange nasmaak, steenvruchten en inderdaad beetje sherry-achtig qua zoetheid. Mooie en smakelijke geuze.

Première des quelques bouteilles en stock. Carbo assez faible, mais très belle complexité, funk+, pomme, bon côté fermier. On va essayer de laisser vieillir pour voir.

Vele malen beter als dat ik me herinner! Hoewel ik de Loerik mega lekker vind is de 'actieve Loerik' ook erg goed.

LCI. It's a nice brew. Pretty much the same flavour profile as when I had it first back in August. Green apple, sourness and acidic. Funk hasn't arrived yet. This one needs some more time.

1ste check in. Low carb nog. Hop forward; citrus, bitterheid. Vrij droog, earthy. Beetje funk maar nie veel. Wel heel zacht. Citrus, pompelmoes, gember vanvoor op de tong. Ziltig, brett vanachter. Olieachtige bruocsella mondgevoel. Nog meer rijping!

Wow. On m'avait prévenu que ce batch était plus flat genre Loerik. Qu'est ce que c'est bon. Ça me fait penser à certains Golden doesjel... Quel délice. Je préfère limite aux autres cuvées. Sur une soirée galettes de blé noires c'est sensationnel.

From Tuesday night (I finally found the right version to check in). Almost but not completely flat, mild, feels "old" but not super aged.

Wow. Never would guess this is a cantillon geuze. Super mineral, super soft, sherry forward. This will be amazing to follow the aging on!Food pairing is salt cured pork w black garlic sauce + salsa Macha, roasted corn salad, Spinach Pesto pasta w pancetta

"Bijna loerik". Opvallend minder gecarboneerd in vgl met een gewoon geuzetje. Voor de rest een smakelijke geuze, maar ook niets speciaals: vrij fruitig, beginnende complexiteit maar ook een scherp bittertje in de afdronk.
