Dry, soft and effervescent. Oak with lots of bright cherry flavour still lingering and funk developing. Surprisingly not very acidic compared to its age. This was perfect for christmas dessert!

10 January 2017 bottle, one of the bottles I got on my first trip to Brussels for beer. Gases out a bit on opening, and pours with incredible head, retention, and continued effervescence. Body is a duller red than when fresh, and the nose has big cherry

happy Zwanze day! Lovely sour cherry aroma with hints of almond from cherry pits and oak. Sour cherry flavour is much more muted than fresh making way for mature lambic with bold complex acidity but well balanced with earthy brett funk and oak

Only drank this fresh, aged it really is a complex delight! Musty, funky notes have taken over the cherries - glorious! Cheers!
