Måste säga att jag blev lite besviken. Första smakupplevelsen vad fadd och den återhämtade sig inte i varken smak eller surhet. Synd!

FL backlog. June 2018 bottle: Complex oak, Brussels basement, Cantillon house bacteria, leather, cedar, brine, vanilla, lemon, peach iced tea, and light pepper. Incredible still sipper.

Funky, oxidized with white wine notes. No carbonation, but grape and acid notes mingle into something rather complex.

Wool, funk and apricot aroma. Flavors follow exactly. Light tart and body, dry and flat. Funky vinous finish. Balanced and quaffable.

Lots of dusty basement notes, grape must. No carb. Needs time. First of my bottles from our trip in 2018. Have four left.

4.40. smells mostly like a lambic would, but similarities end there. the zero carbonation here is just nuts. very light. fresh, green tobacco, oregano, and tannins upfront. mild acid lambic character and bitterness. crazy style, huge respect to cantillon

First uncarbed beer (and first Cantillon), and it’s pretty damn cool. Has a bit of that metallic lambic tang upfront, but such a mix of weird flavours throughout. Tannins and an interesting tobacco flavour, and oragano? Very cool. Rating: 4.40

The flat lambic, not always my best friend so to speak. This one works pretty well though. Bit acidic with a light vinegary note. Funky with a gunpowdery, close to rubbery, vibe. Some sweetness from a grainy cereal touch, yet lemony sour with barrel notes
