I can see the controversy, but I actually enjoyed this - and definitely growing on me as I have more. Metallic, iodine, not quite salty but... earthy, maybe?

It was interesting. Smell was strong, but the flavor was well balanced between lambic and abalone. Glad I got to try. Thanks for having Zwanze Day at Pour Company!

Hanasta. Tosi mielenkiintoinen merilevällä ryyditetty lambic. Suolainen karvas maku. Eroaa selvästi perinteisistä lambiceista. Siiderimäinen tuoksu.

About to depart to London, but just have enough time for a quick taste of this year’s Zwanze. Really smells like oysters, the flavour more towards lemon, and bit of apple juice in terms of mouthfeel. Fun!

Nie chcę być inaczej… banan. Gdy pije się na spokojnie kwasowość jest wyraźniejsza, cytrusy, sól morska, może jest nieco tego umami z wodorostów. Posmak ostrygi. No ale dominuje banan, multiwitamina.

Idd volop rauwe oesters in neus (ben dan wel een fan mosselen en scheermesjes, oesters vind ik maar meuh), ziltigheid in mond vergt aanpassen, maar't is best ok.

Probably the most insane nose of any beer I've had. Taste is a lot milder thankfully. Edit: as it warmed, became intense. Tons of funk, but not in the good way. Glad I tried, not my jam.

Draft @ La Capsule, Arras. Hazy golden colour, white foam. Funky nose with salty notes, seaweed, some fruitiness, citrussy and lemony. Strange.

Heel uitgesproken in de neus. Niet men ding. Komt hard binnen. Na wat wennen durven proeven. De zee, ziltig, zeewier. Beter qua smaak dan in de neus maar niet men favoriete zwanze
