CLAC! (Trois Cépages) (2019)

Lambic - Fruit

Cantillon CLAC (Trois Cépages) is a blend of 2- and 3-year old lambics with Cinsault, Alicante, and Carignan grapes. It is bottled in 75cl bottles and made its debut in 2020. The fruit concentration is 300 grams per liter of lambic. The acronym CLAC stands for Cinsault, Lambic, Alicante, and Carignan, denoting the three grape varieties (trois cépages) and is the first Cantillon lambic to contain a blend of three different grapes. According to the brewery, each of the grape varieties were macerated separately and then blended together.

Never heard of this before. Slightly tarter, funkier Saint Lam is the best way to describe. More depth. I really liked this, but probably too tart to drink a ton of it
