CLAC! (Trois Cépages) (2019)

Lambic - Fruit

Cantillon CLAC (Trois Cépages) is a blend of 2- and 3-year old lambics with Cinsault, Alicante, and Carignan grapes. It is bottled in 75cl bottles and made its debut in 2020. The fruit concentration is 300 grams per liter of lambic. The acronym CLAC stands for Cinsault, Lambic, Alicante, and Carignan, denoting the three grape varieties (trois cépages) and is the first Cantillon lambic to contain a blend of three different grapes. According to the brewery, each of the grape varieties were macerated separately and then blended together.

Mega zrównoważony, taki dobrze winnogornowy, jest drewienko, sporo słodyczy, mało dzikie, ale w ogóle tu nie wadzi. Pić można na litry. Thanks Steven !

Get that “raw meat” note pretty intensely, but beyond that lovely cinnamon-like spice and red fruit / grape.

Clac 2020. Red berries. Raspberry. Red grapes. Vinous. Full. Light sour, light sweet. Unbelievable complexity. A mix of berries and red wine. Great!

Grape lambic from Cantillon rarely disappoints, and this is no exception. Funk, vinous, well balanced, and quite delicious. 4.60
