Late rate from my birthday. I remember this smelling and tasting like a petting farm but in the best way. Funky intense barnyard lambic.

A very interesting beer to try. The berry is intense. Smoky and fruity, kind of like a red grape, funky and leathery but the berries are intense. The smokiness, almost gamey flavor is ultimately difficult to wrap my palate around and truly enjoy.

Total barnyard and hay aroma with maybe a hint of grape skins. Eventually I get some berries or grapes. Flavor starts with tart grapes. Big funky barnyard and hay aroma. Possibly the funkiest Cantillon I've had.

Davvero particolare. Al naso succo di frutta. Ma in bocca trovo: balsamico, erbaceo, fruttato, torbato... Ecc... Complessissima ma disequilibbrata

Sooooooo tart and sharp, but a peaty/smoky finish gives this layers. Definitely one to warm up and sip slowly

EB Quintessence Trip April 16-19. Love this! Acidity, funk and plenty of tannins. Solid Aronia bilberry-like fruit expression.
