Aged absolutely perfectly. Some citrusy notes left, but definitely big dusty, old cellar vibes going

Bien plus complexe avec le vieillissement. Ce qu’elle perds en fraîcheur, elle le gagne en arôme et longueur.

Beautifully funky yet soft & dreamy.

Yeah - this vintage is good. Super musty, funky, leathery and restrained acidity

Big woody, oaky aroma. Follows through on taste. Meyer lemon joins the party. Touch of hay.

Now, I must say, the beer IS very good, and I don’t give it a 4.5 stars lightly. HOWEVER, some of these other reviews are VERY deceiving. I’m not sure if Gueuze paid for these or what, but this beer is NOT dry! I spilled it all over my wife and she is PI-

Bottled 10/22/15 - last had this Oct '18. All the lemony/citrus tart is gone, but musty, earthy funk has stepped up fabulously. Apple note on the nose is a new thing for me from a Cantillon. My bring, courtesy of Mitch Reed.

Massive levels of musty funk on this bottle - the lemony zing is gone, and I agree with Jeff R. that it has developed an almost apple-y character. Earthy & dry doesn’t begin to encapsulate this; feels like Brussels dirt was an adjunct. Weird but good.

Pregame beers prior to the DMB concert. 8 year old classic is always a winner.
