Wow. Super clean flavor. Minerality. Grape peel, sweet wine, white wine, golden apple. Super dry and tart.

We tried 3 bottles: a crazy good one (maple, walnut) a bad one (burned tires) and one in between

I tasted over-ripe apples and light figgy, pruney, flavors. It was light and delightful

This one's a thinker, in a good way. Really enjoy the heavy spice and a kind of sweet malt behind it all. Fascinating and lovely. [2021 Catch Up]

Delicious. Almost had a different flavor profile as it warmed (more sweet and fruit forward). Big thanks to Kyle for sharing!

Oh yes, big whale bottle, and it holds up to some hype. Lightly vinous, but maybe some cranberry notes as well? Lovely color, and never ending funk. 315/520

Bottled in 2020, but I don't see a 2020 entry for it...

Faulty cork, broke while opening the bottle. Vinegary. White currants. Honey. Subtle white grapes. Funky. Acidic. Funky

Grape and Vin Santo notes are less present compared to newer version. Bubble is very agressive. Still lots of grape and notes of wine in the aftertaste.

Lots of fruity grape in nose, also some sulphury acidity. Taste is juicy, white grape, really acidic, vinegar. After aeration in goes more smooth, but overally it's quite robust. Cork was really fragile. Might not be the best bottle.

This time I can appreciate how the 18 is superior. I get a little ketchup in the nose, but still have the grape explosion. According to Eric these weren’t stored properly prior to Arrogant Sour, so that would explain the bottle variation.

Some bell pepper at nose and a bit messy flavor within, but not that off as of many bottles in the past. Macerated grape and a green harshness within and after dryness. Way tart and super persistent. 4.40
