Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2015) Paradee
Fridge cleaning tonight. This was a gateway beer for me. Really opened my eyes at the time. Sadly past its prime.

9% DIPA. Horkin’ Heapload is a hearty, modern Imperial IPA stuffed with a luxuriously huge quantity of extra-fragrant American hops piled atop a soft, biscuity malt base for a lip-smacking glass of hop-lovin’ goodness. Yowza!

Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Banana Paradee
5% blonde ale. An ode to Dogfish Miami and their use of Local Florida ingredients including Sugar Belle Orange Juice, Orange Zest, Organic Florida Sugar and a touch of Florida Sea Salt. Light and malty with a citrus nose and finish. Meh…

6.6% sour collab w/Angry Orchard. Mixed cultured farmhouse ale brewed w/pilsner, spelt, rye, wheat, Vienna malts, aged in French oak Chardonnay barrels for two years. Blended with apple cider. Tart & funky, bordering on lambic. Pretty, pretty gewd!

6% stout brewed w/naked oats & melange of beans...toasted garbanzo & fava beans for nutty goodness, locust beans to bring in dense, earthy cacao flavors. After fermentation, aged on Madagascar vanilla beans & roasty Nicaraguan honey arabica coffee beans.

6.3% brown ale brewed from a blend of roasted and caramelized malts to create complimentary notes to support the earthy, roasted sweet potatoes. An enticing blend of warming ginger, sage, and a whiff of vanilla. Nitro poured!

6.5% DH’d IPA brewed in collab w/Trillium. Mid-Atlantic wheat from DE brings pillowy softness, while Danko Rye from MA offers subtle spice. Mango, pineapple, candied citrus. This is the cask version, and it’s fabulous!

Oloroso Sherry Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Paradee
It’s 120 Day at Dogfish, and what better way to celebrate the occasion than a 1:20pm toast with this gem. The sherry barrel character helps cover the heat, and the resulting toffee caramel candied ginger result is intoxicating indeed!

8% Doppelbock lager brewed w/orange peel, dried orange slices, cocoa powder, and cacao nibs. A winter warmer combining bright, fruity citrus and earthy, decadent cocoa. Decent.

Rip Van Winkle World Wide Stout Paradee
Finally get to check in this monster. 18.7% ABV is well-hidden by strong barrel presence and notes of brown sugar, caramel, and sweet licorice. I concur with the “thin” comments, but this should age very well. Look forward to trying one every year, RVW!
