Needs decanting. But still very raw and young. It has a cognac base, but finish is rather acidic and bitter. Hope this a) was a one timer “not so good bottle” or b) this brew develops and will mature in the cellar.

Had to review something tonight for the CW 4th anniversary party. A bit more round than the classic. Tbh the OG gueuze tickled my fancy a bit more but damn this one is good too!

Słodkie i drewniane, trochę pestek, skórek, ale bardzo grzeczne mimo wszystko. Na finiszu trochę gryzie. Nie za fajne.

Nice beer. Trying to nail down the taste but it’s nice. Lambic aged in brandy barrels.

Hout, witte druif, citrus, cantillon funk. Carbonatie serieus gezakt, bijna geen. Droge afdronk. lekkere lambiek maar niks wow

Alkoholi polttelee ja lupaa hyvää, mut maku jää yllättäen vähän yksipuoleisen konjakkiseksi. Happamuus sivuosassa, vaikka ihan lambiciksi tunnistaa.

Malse Lambiek domineert, vrij zoet, lage carbonatie. Totaalervaring is die van een -weliswaar fris gewassen- rusthuisbewoner

Klar øl med hvidt skum. Dufter til at begynde med tydeligt syrligt men ændrer til egetræs noter. Samme sker for smagen der med lidt tid i glasset bliver mere og mere kompleks og vinøs med en tydelig efter smag af fad tanniner og en spike af cognac

Mindes denna som en sann elegant, med skira slöjmoln till nyanser. 3.5 år senare mullrar istället en brutalistisk gammelfunk och ångvältar över allt. Helt förändrad, och iväg från min preferens.

Very nice mild barrel characters. I get some nuttiness, vanilla. Little bit on the acidic side but will age very well over time. Excellent vintage.

Maybe my plebeian palate but this just tastes like gueuze? A touch on the acidic side. Def some background funk. One of my fav Cantillon labels, too.
