Perfumed berries (redcurrant, cranberry, strawberry) aromatic sandalwood & musty oak barrels nose; tart lactic acidity & elegant, earthy cranberry, rosehip & blackcurrant taste; then tobacco leaf-like oak tannins, funk & cranberries in white balsamic jus.

Aroniabär var en ny bekantskap för mig. Funkar i lambic, men är skeptisk i övrigt.

Mmmm.. scent has funk and some sea water. Hard to see in the picture but the foam is slightly pink. Refreshing taste, nice body, leaves an aftertaste of bread, some salt and marmalade.

LCI from the Saturday 🐳 slay. Heavy dark grape, herbaceous funk, light yankee Christmas spruce candle, spice, and blackberry. Not sure why there’s so much hate on this one, we all enjoyed for the most part. Flavor was preferred to the nose though. 3.9

Draft @ Moeder Lambic. Deep beetroot reddish colour, light pink foam. Fruity nose of berries, beetroot juice, smoke. Taste is tart, sweet, juicy, earthy and smoky. Strange and unusual lambic.

Franche acidité, sur des notes rouge, terreuses, betterave. Un peu écœurant sur la durée, mais sort de l'ordinaire. Joli funk. 3,9

Surprenante là aussi, on est transporté en forêt grâce aux baies bien acides. Terreuse sur la finale, qui évoque la betterave.

2eme session après avoir eu le début de fut très levuré & en mode grosse purée de fruit, là c'est plus fin, plus acétique, floral, limite vineux. C'est pas meilleur ni moins bon juste différend de l'ouverture du fut. Tuerie/20

Absolument incroyable, énorme fruit, et en fond c'est pas total du lambic "classique" au goût, y'a de la levure de saison en arrière goût et surtout en rétro olfaction, c'est une énorme tuerie, encore plus pour 5.5€ le demi. 4.80

4.10. Kinda smoked for me. Spiced and a little bit earthy but the main flavors are still berries.

What were they thinking when they made this? It’s a sipper for sure.. one sip you are done. Basically, Toe jams in a bottle.
