Tasting 2016 vs 2018: 2016 - plus tart, moins sur le fruit. Légère préférence pour 2016

Really excited to finally try this. It’s extremely clean, getting no funk. You get a bit of dried apricots lingering throughout but by no means in your face. It is definitely sour, brings me back to being there in person. Celebrating one year.

At Jefe’s baby bottle shower. Way more mild but also acidic

Shcoked the years in my cellar have actually improved this. Still strong apricots but so much funk and hay, great.

Bit more minty and limey than I remember, but still good and nice bit of apricot still

Old socks with mint, rotting fruit, dusty leather. If you have this in your cellar you might want to wait another 10 years and hope it loops back to good again…

Less lively than expected. And not as sour as usual aged Fou! Great with massive funk. Massive stone fruit character still. Damn this is holding up well.

Believe the hype. Taste like a SweetTart candy, cursed by the Devil, and dissolved in angel’s tears

bottled 6 sep 16. maybe for this kind of cantillon, I waited to much to drink it, my mistake. the flavour of peaches is disappeared, and the nose it's not super balanced anymore, the moutfeel is very sharp. still a good beer but...

I remember it being good, because I got it before all the bums in VIP.

2017-02-18, 750ml bottled 2016-08-29. Pour dark yelloish no foam. Aroma is of bad apple, probably not good. Taste is acid of coarse. High carbonation. Long tart finish.

Winner of the night. All fruit gone, but plenty of funk, hay and Belgian peasant sweat. Truly delightful. Bottled 9/6/2016

Aged 7 years. Funk, apricot, dried fruit, touch of perfume. Flavor follows. Tart, lost a bit of its punch.

Lambic Day at Afterthought! This vintage Fou Foune is right at the cusp of turning super sour, but still drinking in its prime now, tons of fresh stone fruit, but you definitely get that puckering tartness starting to take over. Delicious!

Dregs, but I’m not upset about it. Lambic Day.
