Peat, smoke, sherry with some nuttiness. Not much booze, tons of flavor. Exceptional bottle.

I'm guessing the whisky barrels were initially sherry cask, really nice complex oxidative and fruit notes from the barrels.

Wow. Fantastic. All the best parts of a lambic. Tart, earthy, dry. Layer in notes of whiskey barrel aging, and this beer is a home run. Outstanding.

Didn't move much in 6 months, still a lot of whisky but in a good way, love the balance with the wood and smooth spirit here
