From yesterday. Tart, citrus, nice bitter and briny background balances everything together

Rather special taste, much fruitier than I expected with some lemon and a rather big dust of peach in nose. Clear prescence of the maritime ingredient with umami and light saltyness.

Love the smell of algae. Maybe this lambic would be a good pair with sushi?!

Aromat bardzo owocowy. W smaku to już zupełnie inne piwo 😉 Delikatnie dzikie i kwaśne, mineralne, winne, lekko słone, wyraźną goryczką. Nietypowo lambik, ale chyba o to chodziło. Bardzo dobre, ale nie sztos 😉

Zwanze Day 2024, beer #3: The actual Zwanze beer, and very much stuck to the brief. Bizarre and utterly bonkers, this tasted of the sea. Elevated with gouda and celery salt!

There might be some decent note from the seaweed, but this beer is totally WRONG. Worst zwanze for me, hands down. The sea note has taken over, and not a clean sea, like the ones in Campania full of illegal dumping with mussels growing everywhere...

Smells like V8 ocean juice, tastes like a higher minerality briney geuze. I could get down with this on a special occasion frequency

Salade d'algues liquide.

Crazy funky saltiness in this year’s batch. Strange, but tasty!

Smells like rotting kelp at the beach and tastes like saline for irrigation. Really interesting and fun thought

Very Briney and seaweed nose, but doesn't taste like it.

Tough one to rate, like nothing I’ve ever had. Very seaweedy, some olive, not too briney. I appreciated it but probably not something I would seek out

Big pour in Rome at Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fa. Strange funky nose, some saltiness in there as well. Taste has some salt as well combined with geuze sourness and an umami funk. Pleasant beer, unbalanced, but opens up really well over the course of an hour.

Forte au nez - iode, banane, mais plutôt douce et légèrement amère en finale.

I think it's an acquired taste, but it's definitely an interesting and complex beer

It smelled like oysters and seaweed but tasted like olives and brine

Shitting lovely. Aroma is a medley of things but the flavour is grand. All pickley minerals, like chewing on fresh sea belt and ulva. Lil lick of a limpet in there too. Salty lad, proper special x

Super unique brew, crazy nose. Again I would love to try this with a few years on it. Not very funky, more fruity. Brine notes come out as it warms

Love the creativity but this was a low mark in a day of amazing beers. Taste was better than the nose.

Tastes like cum and olives. If that’s your thing I guess you’ll love it.

Didn’t mind this - like a saltier geuze, olives

Some people hated the nose, others didn’t like the palate. I thought both were pretty great and evolved nicely through multiple sips. Definitely a one of a kind beer — fruity, briny, beautifully bizarre.
