2/13/21 backlog. Elegant, woody, leather, brett and port wine decadence, vinous. Classy lemonish and tart, pretty drinkable. Like an improved gueuze. 4.40

C’est complexe et délicat avec une évolution très marqué dans le verre. Avec le temps les arômes se dévoilent, funk, raisin, cuir, sucré, bois, métal, le tout dans une succession rythme et équilibre, une gueuze excellente !

Histoire de marquer la reprise de la vie réelle. Magnifique gueuze avec un élevage légèrement marqué. Gros funk, belle longueur, on est dans le registre vineux.

Splendide exercice de style, c'est tout en équilibre, tout en maîtrise, ça tire sur la pomme verte, sur le fruit juteux... On aurait envie de la boire en parallèle d'une bon repas !

Une gueuze bien funky de Cantillon à laquelle s'ajoute de subtils arômes de sherry (ou porto, certes). Ça ajoute vraiment une dimensionalité mais la gueuze reste sur le devant. Et contrairement aux Zenne, c'est très peu acide. J'adore.

Aged in Port Wine barells this is really more than worth a try.

Minerals, sweet up front then super dry with some hoppiness at the end, thought this was more like a classic geuze. Thanks for sharing Matthew C.

Wow! J’ai beau pas être fan des barrriques de porto, ici c’est super bien intégré. Ma préfrérée des 3 Cantillons aujourd’hui, la plus subtile et lambic-esque.
