Used ALL my senses on this beer. Smells like the sea.... especially when tipped all over you. Now to drinking.... nose of oysters ocean, green olives. Really confusing us at the table. Really after-taste of bad cocktail olive brine!

Nose is salty, briney like pickle juice, apple juice. Pretty mild geuze. Finishes with saltiness. Overall a nice drinker for a spring afternoon.

2024.04.20. Too much seaweed characters.. I repeat, too much…! The base was a quite moderate lambic with citrusy sourness and stone-fruit-like sweetness. But the flavors were not so impressive that the seaweed characters overtook the whole palate.

Pours gold with light haze and no head. Aromas of peach skins. leather, green konbu like seaweed, light tangy yogurt with a light acetic vinegary note. Peaches and leather with green swewaeed blending seamlessly in the background.

Not gonna lie, not the biggest fan of this year's Zwanze. The nose on this is super seaweed which really throws me off due to its briney umami and saline dominant profile. It does open up after a few sips, smooth mouthfeel, w apricot and mango stone fruit
