Delicious lambic. Had a tannic red wine quality after fruity grape sweetness. More body than the other Camtillon's I've tried. What was most notable was the amazing woody barrel flavour, which was very prominent.

Barrels are very prominent and take the grape tastes to the background. Woody but amazingly balanced with the (not too sweet) fruit. Best Cantillon for me so far.

Quite a thick and rounded lambic. Not sharp or precise. Quite mellow. Deep red wine influence but the chestnut barrels must have added the body, to a degree.

Super musty, smells like a damp cellar - must be from the 100% 3yo lambic and maybe the chestnut barrel. Light, dry, tannic. Red wine. Intense funkiness. Sweat.

Massive grapes, floral, Aglianico wine like loads of tons of sour cherries, plus lambic part. Get warmth from the intensity. Super dry and tannic. The wine hybrid mouthfeel is delicious in this one. What I like most is that I can feel a real Aglianico.

First bottle pour we got was corked, and since I hadnt had it before, I didnt know what to expect… but then the next bottle pour was REALLY good, lover it Good fruit presence. 🍻

J’avais déjà eu la chance de faire ce comparatif avec le vin en 2020 et je préfère cette version plus vieille d’un an. Le vin quant â lui est très tannique et on est à la limite de ce que je peux boire.
