Spicy hoppy element at play here. Love that geuzey funk that I assume comes from a long time bottle conditioning. Up there but not my favorite Cantillon

Light sweet tart, highly effervescent, major funk, some acidity

Hazy orange with small white head. Funky, dry, oranges, citrus, medium sourness. Very balanced. Nice.

Delicious depth in a traditional Gueze. Cheesy farmhouse funk. Apparently freshly hopped before packaging, but still 7 years post bottling. Nothing to add that’s out of the ordinary for this.

Like balansert og lett som da den var fersk, fortsatt brusende og med litt funk.

From August. Love this beer (and this vintage). Nice dry cedar and bright citrus and orchard fruit

4.6 : uprank from 3 years ago. This is funky, lemony, almost verging on iris cantillon funk. Super delicious and creamy carbonation which makes this so quaffable on a sunny day

Lagrats väl. Syrliga gröna äpplen och har en fin gräsighet.

March 2015. Really mellowed out and integrated. Nice old cantillon dust / must, and just a hint of cheese funk creeping in.

Super underrated imo, especially 2015. Already fantastic but will get perfect in a few years.

Last one from the session. 2/20/15. One of my favorite beers from Cantillon, never disappoints. Brussels bacteria, dusty cellar, green tea, Spanish cedar closet, and minerals. Had a few pours of this bottle. 4.7

12/23. Might be the best beer of the session, but this has always been a favorite loon of mine. Antique furniture, green tea, cedar, Brussels basement, and aged hops. Perfectly balanced acidity. Had a couple pours of this before leaving the share. 4.85

Aged 5 years. Funk, dried pit, skins woody nose. Dried pit, citrus funk wood grain. Absolutely incredible balance. You could drink this forever.
