Not bad by any means but nothing like batch 1. Original owner, only moved from original cellar 1 week prior to opening. This was quite subdued, not a lot of cognac and not a lot of anything else going on.

Slightly oxidized. Minimal carb. No noticeable cognac. Low-medium acidity. Moderate funk.

Milles merci à Marc d’ouvrir ça. Le nez a juste aucune fucking bon sens. Ça sent le gros cognac sans l’alcool. Ça commence fort. C’est tellement bon. Je dirais ma pref de la journée égalité avec à suivre. Vraiment ronde, l’acidité tient tout ensemble. 🥰

Still classy and elegant like wearing a suit when invited to a wedding. Even some saltiness, even if the body has been dried up a bit and complexity has faded. Not vibrant as I remember. 4.30

Crazy hay/barnyard and cognac nose. Very dry lambic funk. One of the best 50N bottles I’ve tasted. Leaps and bounds above the one I had at Grote Dorst a while back.

Still the GOAT of cognac for me, over B1. Getting even smoother with time, still with that creamy quality to it, stunning.

Wouah! L'une des plus belles claques de ma courte vie de buveur de bières ! C'est tellement fin, sec, boisé malgré toute ces années, l'acidité est bien contenue pour laisser toute sa place à laromatique. Monstrueux...

Toute qu'une experience. Multi dimensionel : on a le coté champignon / vieux lambic en partant au nez avec un peu de caramel/vanille. En bouche sa valse sur le dusty/mushy(funky AF) , sesame , citronné , caramel et un peu de raisin sec. Suite commentai

Poaaaaah wat een topper zeg! 1e kennismaking met deze versie (en gelukkig nog 1 in kelder) maar wat een smaakbommetje. Cantillonaroma op en top met zeer veel karakter en smaak! Scherp, droog zuurtje met een hele mooie balans in de afdronk. 🤤

Less funk and more barrel than I expected. Sweet notes from the barrel with a nice body, although slightly less carb than I’d like.
