Very tart, heavy apricot nose. Taste is too tart for apricot. Tastes close to brandy even. Not too many layers. Maybe too aged?

J’ai dû avoir une mauvaise bouteille (ou alors la bière est dans une très mauvaise phase) parce que c’est vraiment trop trop acide.

09 Aug 21. Lacking complexity & not getting a ton of fruit. Good mouthfeel. Glad I finally got to try it but not my fav offering from them. This particular bottle tastes like hype.

Har været for flink ved Fou Foune i tidligere rating. Må erkende, at det ikke er min kop øl. Ved sgu ikke om det er abrikosen, der gnubber mig på den forkerte måde, eller den (eller jeg) simpelthen bare er for sur. Uanset hvad kan jeg ikke lyve længere!!

Misty Pale orange. Apricot in aroma and taste but also yeasty and bready notes that I haven't come across in this beer I previous vintage. Good.

Apricot everywhere. Apricot transmogrified by brewing but still persisting. A relatively gentle sours Esa and a fine jammy apricot tongue.

Weirdly un—Cantillon. Had a creaminess to it (like a skyr yogurt) I've never had from Cantillon. Not ropiness and tasted good, but was very different to any other Fou.

I get the regular Fou goodness, but something is definetly off. A rubbery, burnt plastic sulphur-y thing going on. Make sure to cellar this for a while

Il giusto equilibrio tra frutta e funky: l’imbocco è connotato da forti sentori di albicocca con un retrogusto tipico del Lambic. Nonostante l’ossigenazione i bicchieri seguono con sentori dolci del frutto senza lasciare troppo spazio all’astringenza.

MCI from Torst with Dave. Light Nail polish, and acetone nose. Flavor is jammy apricot up front, but finishes too acidic as is tradition.

It was better out of the barrel, might be in a bad phase right now, very buttery. Nose is like candy. These bottles will need some time.
