Slight odors of ketchup. Vinous fruit bomb in a glass. Love this beer. According to the French collective, JVR toned down the grapes for b2

B2 is less vinous, but great and comparable. They’re so young that there’s not much distinction IMO other than the amount of fruit used

Very different than it was fresh. Not aging well, the grape vinousness has been replaced by a slight off and rubberbandiness unfortunately. Hopefully this guy will bounce back after some aging.

Still tasting a bit young in comparison with Zelige/Nuit b1. Better than when I tried it fresh a couple years ago though.

Nice middle aged vibes. Slight crispness, dry. Mild funk.

Rich, deep wood and funk. Barrel is so rich and full. Bottle is perfect, caramel and vinous. Nothing compared to the bottle Dennis opened at BFNA.

Blåbær Lambik (Blueberry Lambic) (2011) M
A little strange. Armpit berry funk. Very interesting but nothing life changing. Perhaps 5 years is a good aging time for these bottles.

Probably the least interesting. Tastes a bit young and less character all the way around. Let’s see how this one develops over time.

Holding up surprisingly well. Loads of barrel and funk. Lemon zest. Very mild carb. A little cork, but I blame François-Xavier C.

Very nicely rounded. Also quite barrely, but you can feel a more youthful character and less citrus. Should be quite amazing with some time. Unique and great in its own way.

Holy crap. The Cognac is overpowering and I’m loving it! Really blessed to have this release

Oude Geuze Boon à l'Ancienne - VAT 92 Mono Blend M
Much more developed than when Raven R. And I had it years ago

Enjoying more today than quintessence. Perhaps the pairing/people distracted from the beer.

Very well done. Seems a little young for the depth of flavor achieved in the previous bottling

Moeder Lambic Fontainas Cuvée X Browsel M
Thanks david l. ! I just realized I took a boss pour. Please accept my apologies.

Straight juice pairing. This beer has never had much complexity for me. Definitely great grape flavors though. Probably the last batch according to JH.

Slight mintyness combined with mustiness and a unique mossyness with something found in the forest. Superb

Dusty, funky. Bright. The loon is way more complex than the wine. Nice though. Nice to have the wine SxS with the loon

Seems much different and more complex than the last time. Cinnamony and zesty. Quite interesting and pleasant actually

Perfect pastry lambic. Maybe this is 2022. Vanilla blueberries 😋😋😋

Quite juicy and unique. Grape blend reminiscent of natural wine🍇. Superb

Delicious whiskey infused vibes with this. Surprisingly well balanced for what it is. I need a few of these
