Ekstremt tørr 2010. Konjakkfat, funky, helt stille. Røff, morsom. Takk Jean.

Jean dropped off some fancies from his cellar. Bottle says 2005

All these years and still impressive, rich barrel aromas, complex, tart.

Amazing stuff, flat, oily mouthfeel, subtle dryness in the finish, well integrated prominent cognac barrel notes. Nice secondary dusty dried apricot notes in there too. Mineraly qualities in here as well. Good stuff!

Fakt ze jest plaskie wchuj mi wadzi. A poza onem zaskakujaco landrynkowe takie troszke a zarazem nie do zgadniecia wiek, smaczy ciekawiej od brukselek. Jak siemotwirzylo wiecej piwnicy sie nagle pojawia. Nie umiem sie ustosunkowac

Never thought I'd get to try this. Huge cognac. Buttery. Loooooooooong finish. Works incredible with the cheese. Stunning

More subtle than I expected, great balance on soft leathery cognac and grape brandy, very smooth. Aged gueuze funk, oak, long finish.

Outstanding one. Old fashioned and still in such a great shape. Flat, with the right oxidation, has lost a bit of intensity but it's just great. 4.6

Fitting they serve this at a cheese shop. This one reeks of it like no other

Smells history. A real oldie gem. Tastes cellar, smooth basement, just a very thin oxidation and then super dupa cognac. Silky and totally flat. No carbonation at all. Intensity of tartness and dryness afterward. Longlasting. Dusty and intense. 4.60

La Fruiterie with a stellar OG cognac barrel lambic. Never thought I would try it once, let alone twice. Very good beer, but I recall enjoying it even more in 2018

Oh man. Lots of fun to revisit this bigboi, 3 yrs later, in a cheese setting no less! There remains a light fruity character next to the mildly vinegar texture, quickly turning into a complex sipper. It needed to warm up for the full show. Asperule...😬🤔

Catching up on some check-ins. From La Fruitiere. Cognac barrel. Very tasty and not oxidized at all.

15 avril Fruitière. Je m’attendais pas à boire ça, très contente de goûter. Super mouthfeel, flat, cave, barrique.

Even better than last time, and after 30mn in the glass, pure fire, tons of marzipan notes, duper bold and eounded smooth cognac, delicious.

Probably the best bottle I’ve ever had. Much more dense and thick nose. Exceedingly more complex on the palate. Quite bold. I actually gasped after my first sip 😅. Medium lambic qualities and mildly oxidized. Excellent!

As I remember it is flat completely. This time I don’t smell any aging tho. It has a fully barrel taste and smooth lambic mouthfeel where everything is okay and proper. Great bottle. 4.70

lci bxl cantillon tasting; very interesting to try this flat cognac lambic. cognac notes of leather, some tabacco, a touch of sweetness, complex, elegant. amazing smell after some more minutes in the glass

Beautiful initial funk and then the finish is water. But I mean that in the best way possible. Perhaps on account of the age or just the masters at work, it’s just so smooth.

Beer#7 at SP LC Members Party today. Oude lambic that spent 5 years in cognac barrels prior to bottling. NO additional priming sugar was added at bottling for refermentation and carbonation. As a result, LH12 pours completely still. Thx, Brad!

Side by side avec 50n B2 et ça a bien tenu la route. Même si c’est flat ça reste très facile à boire, c’est doux, caramel et cognac mais sans ajout de sucre comme dans la 50n. Nice !! 🇧🇪🍺🔥
