Strong smell of ripe/cooked banana but that doesn’t come through in the taste. Fairly mellow…after drinking other bottles of cantillon.

This really is like seaweed from the ocean. This would be 🔥 with some sushi. Kind of has notes of olive, salinity. This is fun!

Soooooooooo..... What to say about a seaweed beer? Smells like the ocean and armpits. Has a Salty, oyster and slightly pickled flavor. Don't hate it, but certainly don't love it either. Happy Zwanze Day folks!

Fun Drinking Criminal is getting his Zwanze on... This is wonderful liquid. Strong tropical/salt nose and on the buds of taste. Juicy with a dry finish. Crackin' beverage.

On tap at Champ de Soleil in Tokyo. Hazy golden color. Nice aroma of the sea. Light umami and banana notes. Medium plus body. Mild acidity. Some barnyard funk. Super easy to drink. Excellent.

カンティヨンを色々5杯飲んで戻った。海苔だねえ。ちょっと柑橘強めに感じるようになったかな。口か樽位置か?意識したせいかトマト香というよりは海苔な香りの方を最初から感じるな。冷静に飲むとこの塩味とランビックというのは悪くない組合せな気がする。ある意味スポドリに通じる組合せなのか、と。そういう意味では海苔というか味噌汁を飲まない海外なら受ける可能性があるのかも。

Pours gold with light haze and no head. Aromas of peach skins. leather, green konbu like seaweed, light tangy yogurt with a light acetic vinegary note. Peaches and leather with green swewaeed blending seamlessly in the background.

Really interesting. Decent stone fruit in the nose - think leach and even more so, apricot. Body carries ut all nicely. Salinity is expected but not overwhelming until it warms. Then it drives it further. Semi-dry throughout.

2024.04.20. Too much seaweed characters.. I repeat, too much…! The base was a quite moderate lambic with citrusy sourness and stone-fruit-like sweetness. But the flavors were not so impressive that the seaweed characters overtook the whole palate.

Nose is salty, briney like pickle juice, apple juice. Pretty mild geuze. Finishes with saltiness. Overall a nice drinker for a spring afternoon.

香りはトマト?青っぽい植物。飲むと一気に海苔だなあ。ちょっと塩味。もうトマト感はわからない。ちょっと柑橘。あまり酸味は強くないが、しっかり柑橘はあるな。面白いバランス。

미역처럼 미끄러운 질감. 복숭아 느낌이 은은하게 난다. 드래프트 람빅답게 묽은 느낌도 강하다. 마신 후에도 뭔가 입 안이 꽉 차는 여운이 난다. 해조류 느낌이 강하다. 크게 한방 터뜨리면 좋을텐데 그런 느낌은 잘 안 나서 아쉽다. 복숭아 등 과일 맛이 더 쎄게 치고 들어왔으면 좋았을 것 같다. 막판에 신 맛이 조금 더 치고 올라오는 느낌이다.
